Lovefilm offer a wide range of packages to suit all pockets. The website is intuitive, simple to navigate and easy on the eye. You can search for specific films by actor, title or director: alternatively you can get recommendations by genre or search for new releases.
Like most rental sites DVD’s users create a list of DVD’s to watch. Lovefilm have a simple way of doing this. DVD’s can be prioritised as high, medium and low to help Lovefilm work out what to send you first. The site supports multiple lists and you can decide how you’ll share the films between them, this is particularly useful if you choose a package, which enables you to have multiple DVD’s at one time & you have a partner or children to fight over them!
Like the Blockbuster site, Lovefilm will warn you the first time you select a Blu-ray title in case you order by accident and its not supported by your DVD player.
Films are despatched by 1st class post with a return envelope. Like all providers Lovefilm is dependent on the vagaries of the postal service. In the rare event the wrong DVD is provided or the DVD is scratched you can log this on-line and request a new one. As a new Customer Lovefilm’s turnaround is second to none. I selected 2 new releases and both were with me within a few days. All in all the service is straightforward to use and does what it says on the tin.
